Great coupon for climbing gym

Hey all,

Came across this awesome coupon for Rock Spot Climbing. You have 3 days left to act on it, but basically you get 3 months of unlimited climbing for $45:

I went to the gym for the first time on Sunday, and while it is not nearly as nice MetroRock, the price really can't be beat. If you are planning on acting on the coupon, I'd reaaally appreciate it if you would use me as a referral (I get $10 for a future purchase out of the deal, sweeet!):

Also, I'd love to form a group to go to the gym with regularly. Ideally, we could take turns driving, but if no one else but me has a car, I'll drive. It takes awhile to get to the gym (I live in Allston), but I like to climb hard and push myself once I'm there. I climb around a 5.10 on a good day, but I'm open to teaching people if they want to learn.

Just moved to Boston, would love to meet more climbers!

I'd be game. I might just do the 5 time deal - it's been awhile since I have done any climbing, but I think it would be fun to get back into. I drive somewhat near there coming back from work so I could meet up with y'all sometime. Lemme know!

At first I was gonna do the 5 time deal, as well, but I'm pretty sure I'll go more than 5 times over the next 3 months, and the prices are so close, I just made the plunge.

I'd like to go at least once per week and once per weekend, what times would work for you? Do you know how to belay/have a harness?

And like I said before, if you do end up using the coupon, would appreciate it if you used my referral code. Not entirely sure how it works, but hopefully it's easy.

Let's climb soon!

Ok, I'll try to use the referral thing. I've done my share of belaying, but I would need a quick refresher and no, I don't have any equipment.

I checked their website, $5 for shoe rental, $3 for a harness. Kind of rip off prices if you ask me, especially if you plan to go frequently. A new harness will probably set you back $50, shoes about $75, but maybe you can luck out on Craigslist.

You can share my shoes on the off chance that we are the same size (around a men's 11), and I'd be happy to refresh your memory when it comes to belaying.

What time do you pass by there?

It says gear is included...I still might do the 5 pass deal. I get off work at 4:30 so I could be there around 5 or just after. How about you? Weekends I am all over the place, but I am sure I could swing some weekends too.

It does say gear included...sweet! I don't get off work until a little bit later, 6 or 7 is more realistic for me. I'm also all across the board on weekends, but if I don't go out too hard Saturday, I can usually be counted on for Sunday late morning/early afternoon.

No, they both include gear: " 2) $45 for three months of unlimited climbing (gear included) and an optional lesson for one ($217 value)."

You should try it! Climbing is fun, and it isn't that hard to learn the basics.

$45 is unlimited climbing for 1 person for 3 months. When you go, make sure you print out the BuyWithMe.com voucher, they DO NOT have a printer there (I found out the hard way).

The two-person voucher isn't a great deal for 1 person, don't worry about it.

You do not need to use my reference code (or refer me as you said), but if you want to, it costs you nothing and I get $10 for free when you make the purchase! (wow...I sound like cheapskate haha)

I would be VERY interested in sharing gas and climbing together. Let me know, I might even go tonight if the roads aren't too bad.
