Swedish practice
Posted September 17th, 2009 - 1:39 am by from Stockholm, Sweden (Permalink)
Hi there,

I have been studying Swedish at university this year and would like to practice speaking a bit more, ideally with a native Swedish speaker.

If there are any Swedish CSers that would be interested, please let me know.

Michelle :)

As I emailed Michelle, I'm up for it.
There's a few others around who want to practise, and a few Swedes who we can practise with.

Personally, I think everyone should learn the dialect I speak.

Anyone else?

Jag vet inte om det är verkligen möjligt att hitta folk som kommer från sverige att hjälpa oss, men vi skulle kunna prata med varandra kanske?

Sorry for dissapearing! As I just emailed Erin, my thesis had taken over my life so I did not check CS again until now...

I am still up for Swedish practice, and I also had one reply from a Swedish guy living in Melb who was happy to help as well in return for a coffee (Which I think it a very good deal!!), so all is not lost Alexey :)

Would you both still like to meet up and practice Swedish?

Wonderful! I'm looking forward to it! Because, you know, talking to swedish radio is generally ok, the only point is that it actually cannot hear my replies, which makes communication a bit difficult...

haha :)

So let's meet up sometime from the 16th of Nov onwards. I know it is a bit far away but I have 2 x 5000 words essays to finish + Swedish exam + thesis before then.

Is day or evening better?

Whatever really.

I work shifts, so mornings are NEVER good, but afternoons and evenings are okay :)
