Skydiving school? anyone wants to join?

I have a dream of becoming a licensed skydiver. It would require attending a special training in a course of which it would be necessary to perform 25 jumps.

I am looking for a person/persons who would be willing to do it with me. First, it will cost at least several thousand dollars. Second, it will be necessary to take couple of weeks off and travel to the location of the school to attend the course (and I believe stay near the school during the course). Third, complete decisiveness to accomplish it.

I consider this as a unique experience that very few people are able to enjoy. If you learn how to fly - all difficulties and obstacles in a regular life will be easy to overcome.

Looking forward to hear from those who are willing to join.

Thank you.

You can probably finish AFF in a couple weekends if the weather is good. You'll just need to dedicate a day for ground school which is about 6-8 hours of classwork and a short test. Just make 3 tandems and 7 AFF jumps with a coach and you're on your own. Once you get to 25 jumps though you can do your checkout dive for an A license which will let you jump with other licensed jumpers.

When starting skydiving you have a big bag of luck and an empty bag of skill. Everyone's bag of luck eventually runs out, so fill the other bag asap =P And the minimum student training is not nearly as extensive as one might think haha.

You will eventually need one of these: http://www.uspa.org/USPAShop/tabid/353/pid/2/2011-Skydivers-Information-Manual.aspx

So you can should just order it now. You can also read it online for free.

I'll be back in the states in May, but shoot me a message and I can put you in touch with people who often go to dropzones for the whole weekend.

Thank you very much for your help.
Yes, it would be great to meet some people that travel to dropzone(s) from the city on the weekend.
