Hi!
Petropolis it is not really out of Rio...it is an our by bus...many people live here and work in Rio every day...and it is incredible beautiful! If you want to stay with all the meals included i can charge you R$ 150,00 per night. And now i have a new option for you: I have a studio in Copacabana beach, in the corner with the beach with amazing ocean view, all furnished and equiped, including internet that turned available: go to this link to see pictures:

The price per night it is 170,00 + cleaning fee(R$90,00) and the consume of the electricity (mesurement by the electricity clock).
Just let me know if any of these options interest you!

ha ha i had no idea that these would be your prices!
it is a shame that couchsurfing could be used these days for such things opposite to the original idea! i can afford 20 or 30 a night at the moment... but this is difficult cause all prices going up in Rio for +20 ... again which is a move that is opposite to the principals of the event.
thanks for the ideas but i am not this rich person that you are looking for!
good luck to find someone for your rooms.
