OK...SO THERE ARE MANY VEG RESTAURANT MENTIONED IN THE GUIDEBOOK BUT I DID NOT GO TO ANY. YES...I AM BAD. I JUST WENT TO THE MERCADO AND LOOKED AT MEAT AND MY STOMACH GIVING ME CRAMPS...AND THEN I BOUGHT SOME NUTS AT THE MARKET. THERE ARE 3 FLRS IN THIS MARKET.THE BOTTOM ONE IS A LONG STRETCH WHERE YOU CAN FIND BREAD.GOOD BREAD, SLICED, CHEESE, BAGGUETTE?(SPELLING). SOME CHILLIES AND LOTS AND LOTS OF MEAT TO BE SOLD.HANGING THERE. THE SECOND FLOOR, FULL OF NUTS AND DRY FRUITS.GOOD STUFF. AND THE 3FLR RESTAURANTS..100S OF THEM BUT LIKE ANY OTHER SOUTH AMERICAN CITY EVERY OTHER NEIGHBOUR AND RESTAURANT IS SELLING THE SAME STUFF.THEY JUST DONT LIKE TO VARY AND THEY DONT LIKE TO COMPETE.
ANYWAYS THE 1ST FLR ALSO HAS THIS HUGE SPACE WHERE PEOPLE ARE SELLING FRUIT SALADS AND JUICES. PRICE RANGE 5BLVS TO 7 BLVS.CHOOSE AND EAT LIKE A ROYAL.

how has your veggie experience been in bolivia since? i'm in chile and being raw here or eating organic food in particular has been challenging. planning on heading to bolivia for a different experience, as they have a raw gathering early january.
