Backpacking Gear
Posted March 8th, 2011 - 7:46 pm by from Arequipa, Peru (Permalink)
These things need a new home by the end of the month. They are used with some wear and tear and have been in storage for several years.

3/4 Thermarest
Down sleeping bag
MSR water filter
Hanging travelers Mosquito net
Two person tent (Sierra Designs)

I also have a larger/newer tent & and a Gregory Backpack that I would like a few bucks for. This will be posted on Craigslist.

Hi Alan,

I would love the tent and down sleeping bag please! I have just set myself up here and have literally just begun scouting around for them!

I have not used a water filter before - just puri tabs. Is this something you would recommend for local canadian camping or not much need?

To Alan:

I would LOVE to have the water filter and the mosquito net! (I'd use them for travel through Asia starting November 2011)

Thanks, Amy.

That's it! Everything is either already out the door or spoken for.

Enjoy folks!

As the backpack remains unsold, it's up for grabs for free now too.

It is, I believe, an 80L pack and is designed for wilderness backpacking. It's adjustable and on the middle setting fits me well. I'm 6' tall.

It is quite similar to this current model:
