Furniture - an apartments worth
Posted March 8th, 2011 - 8:00 pm by from Arequipa, Peru (Permalink)
I'm heading out on my indefinite journey at the end of the month and am passing on the furniture in my place. Some of it can go now, some of the things (bed) I need until the 29th.

Pine dining room table with 4 chairs (mismatched),

Bookcase: 4' tall, 3.x' wide, medium dark brown wood.

Square coffee table: kind of a teak veneer.

Big winged easy chair with a very nice (but worn) gold floral pattern.

Sofa bed: double. This needs to stay until the end so that I can continue to host CS'ers.

Big Grey double wide filling cabinet that I also use as a dresser.

Double box spring and mattress.
Double futon.

The mattress is not that comfy, but manageable. I have thrown the futon on top to make it comfy. So the mattress set can go at anytime, the futon I need until the 29th.

Kitchen utensils, pots and pans. These stay until the 29th as well.

A couple of standing lamps. It's still dark in the evening, so these need to stay until the end of the month.

* Filing cabinet has the rail thingies, but one horizontal rod is missing, so I've only been using one drawer for files.

Looks kind of like this, but just a solid grey, no fake wood grain: http://images.officefurniture.com/product/product/NBF-W50170_zom.jpg

36" w
20" D
28: H

* Coffee table: 32" Square top with 24" square base. 17" high.

* Bookcase: 11 3/4" deep.

When I stop being lazy I'll dig out the camera and post pictures of everything ....

Ok, here are some photos: http://www.couchsurfing.org/image_gallery.html?id=H1YO1YP&folder=403751

I've added my A4 Photo Printer. The feed tray does not work, put I have been manually feeding in a page at a time and getting really nice results. It uses special paper and dye ribbon specific for that model. I have a few sheets left, more can be purchased on the Interwebs.

It will cost you just over $1 to print a professional quality 8x10 photo.

I'm interested in the Sofa bed, the easy chair, and the table with chairs...
What day do you want them picked up? I have to organize access to a truck...

Posted March 25th, 2011 - 2:07 am by from Vancouver, Canada (Permalink)
oooh and the coffee table if we can fit it in the truck

Last call, if no one picks these up before Monday, they are going to the thrift store:

Pine dining room table with 4 (mismatched) chairs.

Square coffee table: kind of a teak veneer.

IKEA Expedit coffee table: dark, long, and narrow.

Big winged easy chair with a very nice (but worn) gold floral pattern.

Sofa bed: double.

Double futon. black.

Ironing board & iron.

Hi Alan,

Me again! I would definitely love the iron if it is still available? I have been 'ironing' my clothes for work using the steam from the shower... not so effective!

The ironing board would be handy but I think it may be a little inconvenient to get on the skytrain if someone else could get better use out of it?

Yup, remember how to get there!

I am coming by that way on Monday morning on my way to work - about 9am. Could that work at all?

If not, I will come tomorrow arvo too! :-)
