Open Mics for Indie Ukulele singer/songwriter

From Cape Town, South Africa

Does anyone know of any good open mic nights in Istanbul? I will be in the city for a week in April and I love to play at an open mic wherever I go.

But I have had difficulty finding something online like that in Istanbul. I would also be happy to play a show that is planned beforehand. If you are interested or think you could help me, have a listen to my music. The tracks on this website are raw acoustic demos - just me playing live.

I am much more of a poet and lyricist than a musician, my songs have a lot of words. They are all in English, sorry to you Turkish speakers maybe someone could help me translate them so I can make a Turkish album one of these days.

I would also love to jam with other musicians or come to any house parties etc while I am in the city (April 13 - 23)

Best,
Londi

Thanks so much Altug! I will check out those places. If I don't get a show maybe we can meet up anyway.

Best,
Londi

Hey Londi,

Every sunday at 4:00 at 60m²(http://www.facebook.com/events/214614738637866/), I manage a jam session. I would be glad to see you there, and to jam with you.

This is a very new event, and I hope lots of musicians will come

Hey Londi,

you have a nice voice and style. don't go around saying you're rather a lyricist, the music is good enough to stand behind... ; )

if you get a gig it would be nice if you write me personally. we don't get many acoustic and simple ukelele concerts here...

have a great time here

Hey Londi,
I just moved to Istanbul. Too bad I missed you, as I checked out your FB and was very impressed. A really special voice :)
Did you have any luck on finding any open mic? I'm looking as well.
