Hi all,

my boyfriend and i will be coming to denmark for 5 days (the first 5days of may). We're coming from belgium by car and are hoping to do some camping and maybe some hiking.
If anybody knows some beautiful breathtaking spots in nature, we'd be very happy to visit them. since we only have 5days the closer to germany the better i think, unless it's really really worth it :)

thanks a lot!

Everything is beautiful in Denmark :)
But if you come on Fyn, you should definetly come in Kerteminde and visit Fjord og Bælt ;)

the Western coast is supposed to be one of the most beautiful parts of the country. check that out while you are there...

Hi Michiel and Judith

Near to Germany I would recommend that you visited "Vadehavet" (the Danish Wadden Sea). I'll have to admit that I have never visited it myself, but that is a fault of mine and something that I aught to change as soon as possible. It became in 2010 the third Danish National Park. You can get some specific suggestions for places to go here
http://www.vadehav.dk/
but you'll have to have google help you translate, so far it is only in Danish. Here is some info in English
http://www.danmarksnationalparker.dk/English/The+Wadden+Sea/

If you like to do a hike check out "Hærvejen" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H%C3%A6rvejen). You can find detailed maps here
http://www.haervej.dk/haervej/detailkort-haervejen
I am afraid the English version of this site lacks behind a bit compared to the danish, so you might have to use google translate again, if you want take any information beside the maps.
It should be a very pleasant hike, but unfortunately it is also among what I want to do a some point and not what I have already done.

Good luck and enjoy your stay!

Best
Daniel

thank you all very much! all these tips are been taken into consideration :)
also, if anybody knows about canoe trips, those tips are welcome. i heard about going to silkeborg and doing some canoe-tours from there, if anybody knows what the cheapest option is, or if anybody has a canoe we can rent for a day or 2, that would also be nice :)
thanks so much!!
