Tourism Student Looking for a shared flat - 5 months internship - March/April to Aug/Sep
I am a Bachelor's student (Tourism Studies) in his 3rd year from the Netherlands and will be in NYC for a 6 months period from mid of March until the beginning of September 2012. The office I'll be working at is located in Midtown (42nd Street, right next to Grand Central Station) and I am looking for a room in a shared flat with people that care about each other and the appartment.
I am an easy-going and uncomplicated person to live with. I enjoy good company, yet fully respect people's privacy and sometimes also need my time off. I have lived in many shared apartments before, so I am well aware of what needs to be taken into consideration when moving into such a living arrangement. I am respectful, reliable and responsible. In my free time I like travelling, doing sports, cooking, going out, meet friends, read and relax. I never get bored and will always find something inspiring to do :) I speak English, German, Spanish and Dutch.
My maximum budget is 800$US and the appartment should preferably be located close to a metro line that will take me to work (if possible, I also would not mind taking a bike). I am open to live in any area of NYC, but I would prefer Brooklyn. My regular working schedule will be 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, except for outside events such as workshops, fairs, presentations, etc.
Some info about myself: enthusiastic and happy person, 24 years young, born in Caracas/Venezuela to a German father and an Indian mother, full-time student in the Netherlands. I love animals but unfortunately I cannot live with them in the same place as I might react allergic. I do not smoke and I do not have any problems with mixed genders in the apartment. Age is also not relevant to me -- it's only a number . . .
If YOU feel that WE could be a good match then do not hesitate and get in touch with me !! Looking forward to hear from you ...
