Tere Igaüks,

I come to you in order to ask you some advice about your amazing country. I have been several times in Estonia to work and on holiday. But each time during winter. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the nature is wonderful and the Estonians are very kind and friendly. For me, this country is one of my three paradises. I would like to come back on holiday in August. It will be the first time that I will see Estonia without snow and cold temperatures :) . But I would like to take advance of this holiday to fulfil a old dream : to learn to dance the ballroom dance. Thus if someone know a dance school suggesting some ballroom dance training or a private teacher or a dancer student suggesting some ballroom lesson during this month. I will be very interested. I accept also some advice about what is possible to do in Estonia during August.

tänan teid väga

A lover of Estonia.

Hi Claude!

It depends on which cities you will be visiting then, but i know a good ballroom dancing school in Tartu: Tantsuklubi Sinilind. I think they teach for people of every age and in every level from social, hobby-, to competitive dancing levels of ballroom-, and Latin-American dancing.
http://sinilind.ee/ -the site in only in Estonian though, but you can get in contact with them from here: http://sinilind.ee/content/kontakt
Or if you need any help with translations, feel free to ask.

Good luck!

My husband and I have taken dance lessons from Mambo Dance Club in Tallinn (http://www.mambo.ee/). The teachers are a couple with a great experience and they also give private lessons if wanted or needed.

And there are a lot of other similar clubs in Tallinn, but as most of their web pages are only in Estonian, try to google "seltskonnatants" and you'll find plenty of other great contacts in Estonia :)

Best regards
