IMPROVE YOUR SPANISH: Student exchange Mexico-Canada!
Posted November 18th, 2012 - 6:53 am by from Hamilton, Canada (Permalink)
My name is Ana! I'm 20 years old and I'm currently an undergraduate student majoring in International Business. I live in Colima, Mexico and I study at the University of Colima. I'm really interested in doing an exchange with someone of Canada because I want to improve my English proficiency. I truly believe that the only way to really learn a new language is living in the country where that language is spoken!

My school has agreements with Trent University and Brandon University, so I'm interested particularly on people who live in Peterborough or Brandon.I'm not quite sure, but I think it also has agreements with Mount Royal College and Malaspina University, so if you live in the cities where these universities are located and you are interested, let me know.

I'm planning to go to Canada to study for the fall-winter season the next year. I'm doing this even if I don't find someone who's interested on the exchange, but I think it would be an enriching experience to live with another family and a wonderful way to reduce costs! :D

The University of Colima has many careers:

Business Administration
Public Accountant
Nursing
Veterinarian
Medicine
Nutrition
Linguistics
Journalism
Philosophy
Marketing
School of Law
Psychology
Special Education
Physics
Math
Telematics Engineer
Software Engineer
and so many more...

There are also Masters and PhD's

The state of Colima is located in the middle of Mexico’s Pacific coast. You can find the beach and the mountain all in one state! :D The people is really friendly. You can travel around Mexico easily, and is not really expensive.

I live with my parents and two sisters. I have my own bedroom. Of course, homestay includes all utilities: food, wireless Internet, phone, laundry...

If you think someone of your friends could be interested, please, please tell him/her! I would really appreciate it

PS. I know my English is not perfect! but.. that's why I wanna go to Canada :p
