Hi all, I have been busy typing references for the last few days and just found out that several people I would like to see as friends on my list have not been asked to be added to my list. SO now you get another request to add me to your list and vice versa. If you won't , no problem. I suppose I am still getting to grips with this system.

I like to thank all the hosts from Seattle, from Whidbey Island, and everyone that attended the Seattle Meet. I hope everyone takes good care of him or herself, will meet again someday.

For Cricket you'll have to ask Tim...its a typical Brit game, where one guy hits the ball, and eleven guys get to chase it...and throw it back....

...something like a guy with a frisbee with eleven dogs....quite interesting too...

Cadence, I am glad you are feeling better. I wonder if you would post the link for pictures again. I lost all of my e mail history when the computer died.

I had made a backup but I cannot seem to retrieve it.

Anyway, your message with the photo link was lost.

I have some photos from the beach and from dim sum that I would like to share.

Hi Cadence,I am s glad you finally went to the doctor. That cough was a really nasty one. I hope you'll be better soon and DO NOT go work in the yard until two weeks after you started to work again. which of course you'll do at least a week too early :-)!!!!

Sudhir, I thought you were going south instead of to Toronto. Apparently I got the daughters mixed up:-) !!. I hope you have a good time there as well and that by the time you get to Tim the weather will be good in England too. We are having a heat wave here too, although the weather in Seattle was a lot better for my muscles than the humidity we have here. By now I am paying the price for overdoing it in Seattle but I am still so very glad I did come instead of staying at home and doing things I do not enjoy .

I loved meeting everyone in person, it makes such a difference knowing some one's voice, intonation and facial expression. I really loved it. And I love all the pictures. I am still busy putting them on Picasa, but hope to finish them after the weekend. Tuesday half day in hospital, tomorrow traveling to another hospital takes half a day at least , I am sick and tired of that. So after the weekend I'll have time again for myself. Then I can start to claim a new suitcase as I just found out last night when I finally unpacked the last stuff from my suitcase that two corners have completely split and one side half molten away. So not just my wheelchair but that as well. I hate it when things like that happen. I have no idea how to claim stuff like that. Do I start with the airline or my insurance Cy? Any ideas there ? The suitcase I bought last year and was the 3rd time I used it, and a good one too made of aluminum. Boy, am I mad.The wheelchair had miraculously repaired itself when I arrived at Schiphol airport and officially is not my property as it was given in loan by my local council. So problem there too, what do I do ?

I hate the bureaucracy we have here!!!
OK, enough ranting.
I'll start doing something about it instead :-)
Thanks for listening.

Hi Carla,
it was a pleasure of meeting you and I admire your courage!
To meet this bunch of diverse people from different backgrounds even you feel not that well.....
I hope you recuperate well!
Your luggage you can forget about it..... I calculate on 2-3 trips and the luggage is bust beyond repair no sense to bye good luggage anymore I only use the good one if I use a car without airline.
The hoops there make you jump through to claim anything is not worth the outcome or compensation.
Be well

...No Carla, I return to Delhi from Toronto...but will stopover at London for a couple of days, out of which I will get to spend 2 days with Tim.....

I've been lucky with the weather so far.....Seattle was divine, San Francisco too was sunny and breezy, and Toronto is like Delhi in mild summer......warm without being uncomfortable.....London...should be good too...

...I think all of you need to unwind a bit....its been too hectic....I know when I finally reach Delhi, I'll just have a quiet drink and sleep for a long long while..

...get well soon Cadence, and Carla...look after yourself...and little Marilyn....go easy on the Stroganoff......

love to all,

Sudhir

Hi Carla:
My computer has been down but it is replaced now.
I finished the chicken coop enough to put the birds into it.

It took me some effort to catch them all because I had let them loose in the rockery. They did not want to be caught so I had to chase each bird and put them into their new home.
When I was done I had sticks and twigs in my hair and poop on my shirt.
I am sure you can visualize my antics.

The birds did not seem to like the coop at first but they are getting used to it now.

I harvested some raspberries yesterday and finally got a haircut. There has not been much time to work on the computer. If I try to in the evening I just fall asleep.

Long active days will do that to you.

Hang in there, you may rant all you want to we do not mind.
When you need a chuckle imagine me covered with sticks and poop chasing chickens.

Hi Jean,

At least you can honestly say that your life is not boring.

LOL.
