Rashomon at SIFF on Saturday, December 5
Posted December 4th, 2009 - 9:24 am by from Seattle, United States (Permalink)
Hi Marilyn and all,

Let's get our friends together and go to SIFF on Saturday to see Kurosawa's "Rashomon". There will be a 6:00 p.m. and an 8:00 p.m. showing.

Jim Selvidge, the man who brought foreign film to Seattle -- specifically, to the Ridgemont Theatre, in the early 60's will be there and he will introduce the film.

Mr. Selvidge will also have a book table where you can look at and maybe buy his recently published book on foreign film in America. It's a masterpiece of a book, with copies of all the old film posters, so even if you don't want to buy it, it's worth taking a look.

The admission, I believe, is $10.00.

Any questions? Send me a message. Hope to see you there.
