Hi Kyle!

I'm not Chinese but I am also very interested in Mandarin and would like some practice. It's been a couple of years since I got back from working in Zhongguo and my Putonghua is getting rusty.

Let me know if I can join you for Chinese night; there's a pretty sketchy (as they should be) chuan'r place near Joyce Skytrain station that I like to go to; it could serve as a potential venue!

Hmmm...Kyle, I was reading your first line and wondering whether you mean a small group of friends instead of a group of small friends. =P

Anyways, count me in. Actually one of my lao wai co-worker speaks pretty good Chinese. I can ask him whether he would like to join as well.

Hi Kyle,
How do I find where the group is meeting up?
My mom is a Chinese teacher and recently moved to Canada.
So she doesn't speak much English.
she would like to meet more people who doesn't speak Chinese well and do language exchange with them.
She would love to share some culture experience with you!

Please let me know where I can find your group?

Very cool! I speak both Cantonese and Mandarin, but I would love to boost my proficiency and learn more about Chinese culture. I would love to get in touch with your mother. I can teach her more English, as I am a certified TESOL teacher.
