French / English exchange
Posted June 3rd, 2011 - 7:56 pm by from Vancouver, Canada (Permalink)
Hi

my name is Lydia and I'm a native French speaker.
I've been in Vancouver for 2 months already. Time flies.
I'm very excited in starting a new life in Canada.

I'm currently studying English and like having language exchanges as well as meeting fun people.

Contact me if you wanna practice your French. I'm a patient person.
I'd be glad if you could correct my English too !

See you

Hi Lydia,

Not sure if I sent this earlier. I'd love to practice my French! I've learnt French in school but I'm badly out of practice.

How about coffee? Commercial drive works best for me. Or, we could meet up downtown and see some theatre afterwards. I've been meaning to go to http://www.itsazoo.org/home.htm. It's running near burrard station for the next 3 weeks. Wednesday is pay-what-you-can.

Hope you're enjoying Vancouver!

Hi Cindy

That sounds nice :)

No problem to meet you at Commercial Drive. My school isn't too far.
No worries about your French. It will be funny and I'll be patient.

I like your suggestions about theatre or Itsazoo and I'm always ready to do something.
I've sent you my contact information by PM.

See you

Lydia

Hello hello,

I will arrive on Vancouver on Sunday and I will stay there during a month. I was studying French in Switzerland and would like to keep at least a conversational level.

Let me know if I can join the meetings =)

Hey everyone, I speak French and I'm quite fluent in English but I do some mistakes!

I'm a french native speak from Montréal/Belgium and I would like to improve my English! I can hold a conversation without any problems but sometimes I'm having blank. I'll be in Vancouver from September 4th 2011 to September 4th 2012 so I have plenty of time to meet new people and try as much as I can to work my english and help people in french for oral conversation.

I hope I'll meet a lot of people!

Thank you

Nick

Hi,

I just spent the last summer teaching English at a local school here in Vancouver. Next fall I'm taking some classes at UBC to improve my French and I would love to do a French/English exchange with someone. Please let me know if you're interested and the times and locations that work for you. I'm very flexible and am into hanging out at a coffee shop, restaurant or wherever. Hope to hear from you soon.
