Internship in Hong Kong
Posted October 10th, 2010 - 1:52 am by from New Territories West, China (Permalink)
Hello everyone,

Currently I am a student at the University of Applied Sciences of Breda in The Netherlands. I am studying Real Estate and Facility Management.

The reason I am posting this message is to find out if there is a possibility for me to get an internship in Hong Kong or even perhaps a semester at the university. It is very hard for me to get to know the current level of Facility Management in Hong Kong or if it even exists under that term.

I am the proud owner of an Hong Kong permanent identity card because my parents are from Hong Kong. Getting visa or other permits should not be a problem, I guess. To be honest, I have no idea what kind of permits has to be arranged for this, does anyone has an idea?

So do you might have an idea to what option there are for me or if you have suggestions for me, they will be happily received.

Hi David,

I think the internship is probably being offered by your own university. The companies supposed to send the recruitment to your faculty and see if there is any students interested in it. But I know there is a website which might be useful for you.

For the courses, you might have to view the course outline from the websites of the 8 universities in Hong Kong and send the enquiry to the faculty by yourselve because you are the only one who know what you want for your study. They are now having the open days for the public these days. So feel free to send them the emails as they will recieve plenty of it these days.
