does anyone have Risk or Pictionary
Posted February 8th, 2012 - 9:52 pm by from Paris, France (Permalink)
hey everyone,

We are having a games meet on sunday but are a few games short (unfortunatley - we could not borrow pictionary or Risk) if anyone has these games it would be great if we could borrow them, and of course you're welcome to attend, we should be around 15 international people.

Many thank Kevin

Hi Kevin,
thank you for joining this group. I see you posted that meeting in the Paris group; please do the same here.
I guess I'll be coming on Sunday. Unfortunately I don't have anymore Risk (because I stopped playing it) and my Pictionary is an Italian edition. BUT I can bring others (easy) games MUCH more interesting and fun than Risk or Monopoly :-)

Hey Henrick,

We run a few gatherings (we have 18 in the diary this month) some are free (ie we dont charge extra) like iceskating, bowling, bike rides, museum visits etc.. and others we charge a little to recuperate some costs (ie this game sunday , expat parties, lazer quest, dinner parties).

most events we give you a name badge, there isnt too much to the event on sunday, we have a community of 8000 expats in Paris, invite people along and see who comes so you'll meet new people for sure (average age = 24 - 27) .

i've borrowed some games from colleagues, some people are bringing them and thats about it really. dont expect a professionally run event with a league table or anything :) I found a bar which has given us space and a few people people will meet, talk and play....

the dot.com is www.expatriateparty.com/events or expatriates in paris on FB

if the 3 euros is too much, you're more than welcome to come to another event :)

thanks

kevin
