Any photo walks or someone would like to show HK from April 1-6
Posted March 24th, 2013 - 7:45 pm by from Vienna, Austria (Permalink)
Hello HKCsurfers,

I'm coming from Vienna, Austria for a rather business trip from April 1-6, but I'm very interested in doing photography (as passion and sometimes as profession) in HK during the time I'm staying.

So if there some photo walks planned during April 1-6, kindly let me know or else if someone wants to show me around would be awesome as well. Tips are most welcome.

Fellow photography lover,

Hi Saransh,

Depending upon your free time you could visit the Peak and hike down the trail in the west end of the Peak, in a clockwise direction, beginning early afternoon. By the time you come around to the side facing Kowloon you will get lovely shots of the Kowloon and Victoria Harbour skylines, bathed in the warm glow of the Sun, preparing to set for the day. Also Lamaa Island, about 45 mins ferry ride from Central is very photogenic.

Of course, there are plenty other trails but you do not have much time to explore them all. Suggest visit the HK Tourism Office by the Star Ferry on the Kowloon side and enquire. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You can also collect plenty of well produced pamphlets for free to guide you. You will never tire of sightseeing in HK. The markets of Soho, Stanley and the suburb of Aberdeen are certainly worth a visit.

I simply love HK and her people. Lost count of how many times I have visited the place.

Hope I have been of some help.

Happy shooting.

Swapan
