Did Expedia charge your CC already?

I am little worried... my online credit card statement tells me, expedia so far did NOT charge me the 160 euro I have to pay for my second booking (first trip is paid by my mothers CC so I have no information). I made that booking the night from Monday to Tuesday. So almost 1 week ago. Still no charged money.

I am only concerned that I maybe made a mistake with the card number etc... and so on and so on the story builds up in my mind until the stage where I ll check in at the airport and they do not have my booking record....

But I do have an email confirmation. So I should be on the safe site. If there was a problem with the credit card, Expedia should have contacted me by now...

What are your experiences. After how many days got your CC charged?

How about you check your flights on checkmytrip.com? If it shows you that your booked flight is confirmed then I guess all should be fine.

Simon I dont get that website? They would know about my booking. I got the confirmation from expedia straight after. So I am not too worried. But Still wondering why they havent charged..

any more feedbacks about your guys creditcard statement?

Well, basically I think they wouldn't show your flight as confimed if anything went wrong with the payment. That's how I interpreted it when I read about checkmytrip.com on the MyDealz thread where I found this. Maybe you should go through all the comments, could be helpful, really!

Booking of the ammount on my credit card is still not anymore requestes status, but also not fixed. I checked today back at Expedia.au and saw that it has gone back the status to the pre-payment status. So im not sure, if they cancelled the booking, but the flights are still shown in my expedia account.

Dan and Julian,
who booked the flights and were the first cser to go with that offer, are logged in on CS in Boston. According to the calender I think there flight back is now, today.

So they got there. didnt get rejected at the airport. It should be all good!

Hey guys!!
Expedia hasnt charged my CC either, so I wrote to the customer service, and here's a copy of the answer I got:

"Your tickets were confirmed and issued by the airline on 13 April 2009. The charge on your credit card can take up to 2-3weeks to appear from NorthWest Airlines."

I assume that it takes a while for an Australian company to charge European banks (my bank is French, and when I have to wire some money to my German account, it can last up to 3 days... damn bankers!!!)

so... alles in Ordnung, we should all be debited next week or in a few days. and we are DEFINITELY going to the states! :)

have a nice day !!

thanks for the information Claire!

Anyway, according to the login tracer on Dan and julians profile, they were in Boston and are in the Netherlands right now. Their trip worked out (hope they leave us a feedback about how the flight went in this group)..

It is all good.

Julian has left dan in amsterdam. Our trip was great we found great hosts in Boston and New york. Flight was ok as well. Although I had a bit of problem with their shit immigration in Amsterdam because my passport is tatty.

My card got charged after a week if you got an email invoice you will travel.

If you stay in Amsterdam there is free internet in the amsterdam university. 1st floor law library.

any news of the payment process?

Until today 29th April, Expdia.au, KLM charged my credit card until. Ticket is still confirmed in the expedia so i hope everything is ok, but i wonder, that nothing happens with the payment over 2,5 weeks (bought on 13. April). I saw a week ago that the ammount was requested to my credit card and shown as pending in my online credit card bill, but never booked through to my account. It was like you give deposit in an hotel or for car hire and after you give back the car they never charge your credit card.

Did everything work with the tickets and couchsurfers can us report that everything is ok, would be intersting if Caspar or others going with the first NOT still charged tickets!
