Walking around catalonia
Posted July 26th, 2012 - 10:47 am by from Beauvais, France (Permalink)

I'll be walking from Andorra to Barcelona from the 8th to the 12th of August.
I'm currently planning to follow the gr4 (from Puigcerdà to Montserrat) and then, walk strait to Barcelona. is it a nice gr?

I was wandering what i should visit during my travel. I won't see the sea, should I find another road to see beach and sea?

can I camp out in Catalonia?

Hmmm, that's all I'm asking myself for the moment,
Thanks for reading and for any advice you can give me!

Have a nice day,

You can arrive to the coast with GR11 this road start on the Pyrenees and cross Costa Brava, is really amazing to see and to walk around. In some parts you go inside the forest or some villages but in general go next the sea with gorgeous landscapes. Close the coast the forest is ok after the big fire that burn our forest from sunday, I’m not sure in the north and in the GR that you want to do.

About camp out, some guests, friends and also me do it and never have problems because not are nobody checking it but is forbidden. In the coast is great camp in some beaches that only you can arrive by boat or walking (I recommend do it, when you wake up at morning and see the sea in front…not are words for describe it).

Enjoy your nice trip!
