You should really try the Negra Modelo and Bohemia, for me those are the best and "premium" ones haha, sometimes you can find some special editions of those (weizen bier, chocolate flavor, etc.).. If you want to try the standard beer I would say Leon hahaha, and well, if you're looking for a hangover you've got to look for the Gallo, it is the cheapest beer in town and it isn't that bad although it is actually guatemalan I think

There is an excellent place in Coyoacan it calls " Centenario 107" you can find there great beer (mexican artesanal beer and the normal ones like Corona, Negra Modelo etc etc) and also eat some pizza and have some mezcal!!!

The craft/microbrew business is just starting in Mexico, but there are some "bigger" brands: Tempus, from Mexico City; Calavera, also from Mexico City;Minerva, from Guadalajara and Cucapá, from Baja California. They carry few stiles, but have some nice seasonal beers as well. There are some other smaller breweries: Ocozol, Luchador, Chingonería, 7Barrios, Baja, Rámuri, Cosaco, Hacienda, Poe, Jack, etc.

Depending on what style you prefer, there are many beers.

I would recommend you the Calavera Mexican Imperial Stout, with some peppers in it. If you manage to find a draft-only brewery called Alebrije, try it they do amazing beers, like with with agave, one with mole and several styles.

Here are some places I like to get some craft beer:

La Fábrica
Querétaro, Colonia Roma

La Nacional
Orizaba, Colonia Roma

El Depósito
Baja California No.375, Colonia Condesa, Ciudad de México

La Belga
Beer Store
Querétaro, Colonia Roma Norte, Ciudad de México

La Graciela/ Taller de cerveza artesanal
Orizaba No.163, Colonia Roma, Ciudad de México

Bar Zazá/ Pizzas y cerveza artesanal
Pachuca No.1, Colonia Condesa, Ciudad de México

Around 9 sounds good? Let me check which bars carry that beer right now (as there is no permanent menu)
