looking for vegan housemates
Posted August 16th, 2012 - 11:32 am by from Vancouver, Canada (Permalink)
hey there,
my name is Huw and I'm from the UK and from september I'm gonna be moving to Vancouver and studying my MFA at Simon Fraser and I'm looking to find somewhere to live with some wonderful vegan peeps...
something eastwards not too pricey $400-500 a month at most

a little about me - i'm an artist from the UK working in interdisciplinary and community based collaborations and projects, ardent socialist, feminist and all that palooza, i like comics and board games and large meals shared with ace people but i'm not much one for parties. i've been playing drums for 16 years (but won't have my kit with me in the house) and i like making noise with people. i like puppets and clowning and yoga and charles ives and haruki murakami and riotgrrl bands and anything with the kinsella family in it

you can check my profile for more or message me or whatever and such an such

anyways just putting out some initial feelers as i suddenly realised its getting close to my moving...

hope to hear from you

Hey Kali :)
ace i'll definitely keep you updated
i'm flying out on tuesday so will start skulking around the cafes and art spaces and such and get looking for other CS friendly vegan housemates and such :)
shiatsu? ace ace
what a wonderful thing to learn :D
i will be looking eastwards as i need to be sort of between the woodward centre and be able to travel up to the burnaby campus of SFU occasionally for teaching position - plus i am going to be living on next to no money so need somewhere as affordable as possible

Huw! Long time no speak, bud! I am moving in with my friend Jenn at the start of September, we are only sharing a one bedroom, but if you need somewhere to crash for a couple of days while you figure things out, I can probably arrange something!
