tahin, huts and olive oil

Hi guys,

I'm coming to Istanbul this week and want to take some tahin, huts and olive oil. Can you tell me e cheap market to find these products?

ı think the best tahini is koska, in every supermarket, spice market isthe best nuts , there is a pepper shop ( every kind of dry red pepper spice they are selling )outside of the spice market rigt side , and for olive oil you can try just pressed olive oil from new production of this yeras olives, maybe from farm markets or directly from producers.

hey maria,

there is a market in Tarlabasi every Sunday. you will find very cheap nuts and dried fruit there. The market is not far from the Istiklal Caddesi. If organic is important for you, there is an organic market in Feriköy (metro stop: Osmanbey) every Saturday.

I know there are more markets, e.g. Saturdays in Besiktas, Tuesdays in Kadiköy or Wednesdays in Fatih, but I haven't been there so far.

my favorite market Inebolu,in kasımpaşa istanbul every sunday, at this moment mushrooms, cabbages, leeks, apples full:)
