Coming to Zhonshan
Posted October 11th, 2011 - 3:54 am by from Brossard, Canada (Permalink)
Hello everyone,

I will be coming to Zhongshan in about a month. I would like to know if there are any nice beaches around the area and how long it would take to get to the beach. Could someone advice me please!? Also are their any European or middle astern food?

i am sorry to tell u that there are no beacher in zhongshan.but there do have some islands in zhuhai(another city near by zhongshan) it may takes few hours to those islands.u can jion the local tour get there.

i think u should try some local food instead of western food. Guangdong has lots of great food, and after staying in zhongshan or zhuhai,u can go to macau, there is amazing.

Thanks Yunxing for the info. I looked at Macau and it indeed look nice! What's the best way to get there? Are there any buses or subways/trains that go from Zhongshan to Macau? How much would it cost?

Very appreciated!

yep. u can take a bus from zhongshan to the border of macau directly which cost about 20rmb and it takes about one hour and a half.u can choose to take a train as well, but it spends more time ,and more expensive than the bus.

if u have any questions feel free to ask

As others have said there are no beaches in Zhongshan about 2 hours away there is an ok one at Shenzhen or you can head into to Macau or Hong Kong.

A good site to check out is www.zsrenn.com and information is available at http://zsrenn.com/page/zhongshan-transportation. look forward to catching up when you get here.
