Fun in Gibraltar!

Hiya guys, I am heading to Spain next week for business/pleasure trip and Gibraltar is indeed in the pleasure part of the trip. I mean I love crossing entire countries on feet :)

It might be too early to write, but what can you do :)

I will probably stay in La Linea de la Concepcion (what a weird name for a city :P), cos I have to catch a ferry to Morrocco later from Algeciras and I have no idea how busy the border crossing is between Gib and LLDLC (La Linea), so I guess it's easier to get there from LLDLC.

Anyways, I am looking for some fun for a day in Gib, climb the rock, shout at Morroccans, basically do some "monkey" business :)) If someone wants to meet up (surfer, traveller, host) let me know.

You might want to check that your ferry from Algeciras is going to Tanger or Tanger MED. If you havent bought your ticket yet, I'd advise you to get one for just Tanger as Tanger MED is really far from Tanger city although there is a free bus service. The last time I went I sailed from Tarifa and went direct to Tanger (the ferry docks at the old city port) and besides Tarifa is much more interesting than Algeciras.

There are buses to Tarifa from L.L. which take about an hour, or you can get a bus to Algeciras and another to Tarifa as there are more services from Algeciras

Yes, I am aware of that. But the return ticket from Algeciras to Tangier MED is ~€15 with Transmediterranea, what is a very good deal you must agree! And well as long as there is a FREE bus service, I'm fine :) However, I am curious is these buses are scheduled to meet arrivals of ferries, as well as if they leave Tangier on time to catch departures from Tangier MED?

Thanks for the remarks, though!
