The city moderators in my country have been asking me this, could you please help me here???

1. There are people with incomplete profiles in their groups and they (guys) only answer to good looking women... leaving their numbers etc... What to do with those profiles???? The moderators have written mesages to those members suggesting them to complete their profiles etc.. but they do not answer anything whatsoever...

2. What to do with inactive profiles in groups? people who havent signed in for ages....

Thanx a million for your answers.

Hello Diana,

The general advice the CUQ teams usually gives on such occasions is: do not do anything with those profiles. As they are not yours, leave them be, and let any given surfer shape his or her own opinion based on what they see.

Of course, those answers from the teams can vary depending on the situation.

Also, please note that this group is not for providing advice but information; we can only share the experience of general approach disclosed by CS employees and volunteers so far; we shall not offer advice of our own.

Hope that helps.

Hello Diana,

Thank you for your patience. As of this moment inactive profiles disappear from the CouchSearch after 90 (in the good theory) but aside from that, their membership for groups, profile and profile information remains (mostly for security reasons). Those profiles are not really an unnecessary burden for the servers as we can never predict when a profile will become active again.
