Ahahah, true, the name isn't glorious :) but I'm very interested in the Balkans generally, just never find anybody to come with me there.
I don't know yet if I'd join you from Thessaloniki or directly there. When the final choice would be defintive?
Do you know already these countries, guys?

Greetings from Patra!
P.

Hello Yianni!

Have you been to Kosovo before? I have read that if you get stamps on your passport, you might have a problem entering Serbia, I don't know more, just mentioning it.
I should also say that the Germans and the Americans have planned to bring more army in Kosovo, keep this in mind, you never know if things wil get uglier down there.
And what's the situation for Greeks entering Skopia? Do they pass free through the borders or do they have to pay something extra to avoid being delayed for 3-4 hours in order to be "checked"?
In any case have fun on your trip:)

Hello Panagioti,

Dora has absolutely right, you will not have problem at all at the border with Fyrom and neither within it.If sometimes you might be in the city of Skopje pass by the Greek restaurant-By Dimitri. The people of this country love Greece. The only problem as known is the name.Hope some day a solution might be found to that issue and finally this suffering country would join the European Union and the people there would have a better life.

Greetings!

Hi, for trans-passing trough Kosovo, just use your normal ID cards - not passports on borders and you will be fine - EU citizens can go like this, as it was pointed in CS group Serbia few months ago to some Polish surfers, but it would be a good idea to check that information as well.

I live in town Cacak which is close to Uzice, and I have a car so I can help out if there is some kind of emergency. Also I have one bed to offer, however for Greece I would gladly give my life, so if there is more people in need I will organize something.

It is still early to talk about details, but you can count on me. About bed, just PM me at the end of April.
