Hello fellow CSers!!

My family and I are planning a 2 weeks tour around Eastern Europe in Nov. We'll kick off from Germany and make our way down.I need a little advice from those who have travelled to these countries and start planning our trip.

Initial plan (flexible) -

Germany - Poland - Czech republic - Hungary

After Hungary, I'll stay a few days in Paris and my parents will be back either to Germany or UK

If anyone could advice some nice places to see, hostels, trains, city tours around these cities with a budget ?

Should we get the Euro train tickets, euro buses online ? What is the best way to move around between these cities etc...

I know Nov is not the ideal time to visit Europe, but we don't have much choice since my parents will be at my brother's convocation in UK mid Dec.

Thanks a lot =))

Hello Ying!

I suggest you a nice place in Hungary: Lake Balaton.
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=balatonf%C3%BCred&hl=hu&ie=UTF8&ll=46.956355,17.889175&spn=0.254489,0.676346&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=37.735377,86.572266&hnear=Balatonf%C3%BCred,+Magyarorsz%C3%A1g&t=m&z=11

I think the Balatonfüred is a good place for enjoy the lake.

Have a nice day!

Hey Tamas

Thanks...but I think due to limited time we'll only visit Budapest. I don't know...not easy to plan =(

Is there any tours around the city and not too far from Budapest that we 'must' visit ?

Btw, the lake is beautiful !!! =)

Hi Ying!

I think, Budapest is very intresting and large to spend one or two days there. I don't suggest to go other places, if you have not time. :-)

Welcome to Hungary and have a nice trip!
