Well, the goal was definetly not spam.

It has been discovered, that lot of people - even in Hungary - do not know about the upcoming wintercamp. Well we wanted to post about it - it was done like for example by Vienna calling as I remember. There will not be more group announcments, but they were needed once!

Thank you for understanding,

David

It would be stupid not to post that big meeting all over europe groups... that is definately no spam, come on.

Radi, thank you for your understading. I do appreciate that you had the guts to speak up. If I were you then most probably I would have done the same.

Yep, in my view it was somewhat a border-line activity between a legitimate message and spamming, but we had to take this way of communication in order to spread the word about the WinterCamp, because there is no other formal and effective way of announcing a big european event like this.

Hereafter I'll stick to contact only those people who subscribed to the event.

I was concerned about the chance that posting messages to several country groups may offend some people, then I took the action deliberately and considering this chance, too. I'm ready to explain all above and apologize to anybody who feels it necessary.

I hope that the inconveniences caused by posting messages will be compensated by the good experiences of the participants of the WinterCamp.

And now back to work.
