Musicians at the BPWinter Camp
Posted December 15th, 2009 - 9:54 pm by from Zagreb, Croatia (Permalink)
Hey guys

There are probably many of you great singers, guitarists, violinists, drumers, saxophonists... coming to BPWC.

What do you think, wouldn"t it be great if we musicians from many different countries could unite and play and sing together.

Maybe we could find some time for music and make some unforgettable parties and spread a great atmosphere in the camp.

Maybe the organizers could help us with storing and locking our instruments on safe during the day.

Here is something to inspire you

I believe we could sing and play it even better :)

Hope that you like this idea and please could you write here if you are ready to bring your instruments to Budapest

see you & hear you playing there :)

Hey guys,

There was another post about storing laptops and Zoltan - the organizer - has answered that they will be taken care of - i guess it applies for instruments as well...but i don't want to confuse anybody so let's see what the organizers say :)

See you all soon!

Locking the instruments... obviously it will be possible as long as you don't bring along pianos, harps and drum sets because the locker room capacity is rather finite :)

Hey guys,
for the get together night at the camp we were thinking of doing a STOMP style of noise music event.
The brother of one of our co-organizer is a pro music teacher and we could bring along a few real instruments then mugs, plates, spoons etc, that could make different level of sounds /noise/
this could involve more people than just instrumental musicians..
So???
Who is in???
cheers Andras

Sounds great! The stomp thing and EVERYTHING! I can sing and I know that a friend of mine is bringing his guitar. And yes, anything can be an instrument :)

Hi all. For those who are eager to play but do not want to drag their instruments along, I could offer a triangle, finger-cymbals, an african wooden drum, a maracas, a tambourine, and a rainstick for that evening (and, perhaps, a plastic didgeridoo). Maybe, an accordion also comes. Is anyone interested in it? atb, É.

Aw, too bad I'm gonna miss this making-noise-a.k.a-playing session :(
But since I'm arriving too late on 28th, I won't be able to come :/

Have fun people! :)
