yes yes the language skills are limited but most people are hospitable and eager to help, show directions etc.

Make sure you have valid tickets on buses metro etc, the controllers are rude and merciless :-)

Last summer i was in BP alone and it was very easy to survive for me :)
Of course not everyone speak english but you can easily communicate and i agree with Andras,many of them are very friendly and hospitable!
