Train from Italy to Berlin, general advice
Posted April 27th, 2013 - 1:08 pm by from Berlin, Germany (Permalink)
I need to travel somehow from Bologna, Italy to Berlin in the next week. I could take the plane, but I think it will be too hard because I have two big bags and a guitar.

What do you think? What will be cheapest and easiest?

Maybe I could take the plane and check my bags, then get a taxi--but it sounds too difficult to carry everything around the airport, buses to airport, etc, etc....

Ridesharing resources would help. I know about blablacar.com

Georg,

Thank you, thank you! That was so kind of you. I also did some research, but I didn't find that information. Very helpful! I am very grateful.

Did you search for normal fare from Bologna to Leipzig and then saver fare from Leipzig to Berlin; or did you do it all together?

I can't seem to find what you saw.

Just check the websites of some cheap air companies and check the website of the trains and Mitfahrgelegenheit and you will see the prices and you will conclude by yourself what is the cheapest.
