Soy Protein Powder in Taiwan?
Posted October 8th, 2012 - 9:44 pm by from Bristol, England (Permalink)
Hi guys,

I'm moving to Taiwan in March and I was hoping it's possible to buy soy/pea/rice based protein powder, or any other vegan protein powders used for exercising and working out(anything like here http://www.myprotein.com/uk/cats/protein/vegan-protein, strictly no whey or dairy).

Is it possible to buy this stuff in Taiwan, and if so where could I pick some up?

Thanks for any advice!

I'm not sure if you looking for something similar like this. https://www.amway.com.tw/amwayasp3/order/shopping/index.asp?m=2&dc=8xx&s=2&dc2=8yy1&t=&AVRS=2575&flag=view

This protein powder is all made by plant. Since my family members are all vegans, we drink this for gain nutrition.

It's a direct selling company, I don't know if you can buy it without membership. There are some stores around Taiwan, but shows in Chinese. https://www.amway.com.tw/AmwayStation/index.asp

I will check it out if any other similar products and let you know later.

By the way, welcome to Taiwan.

Ah yeah that stuff seems right. Cheers!

Is the product image correct for the price? -It seems to be 450g of 80% protein for 1200NT. Which is about 6x the price than in the UK and for lower quality hah. When your family purchases it, is it normally around this price?

Thanks Mina.

Hi Alex,

This is actually my family members pass to me, I just eat them. haha~ She's oversea now, so I'm not really sure about the price.

As I asked other members, they told me supermarket or other health food brand should have this stuff as well, but the reason we chose this one is the product contain is pure for vegan. Other products contain some egg extract.

I think there still has some similar products out there. so the best way, you can bring some and find out when you here.
