apart from that, we have followed lessons in http://www.lacasadeltango.net/. The place is small, comfortable and not snobbish at all. They also do "stage" of six hours a weekend for the beginners.
Some other "democratic" tango places Espace Oxygene (metro Gambetta), Academie Esprit Tango. Le chantier is reputed to be very high class for Tango Nuevo. :)

I Know that places and for sure they are nice. If you are in Paris in august, or later in fact, we can go together to a milonga or lesson. Moreover, you can go to quai saint Bernard, close to station austerlitz; you can danse tango for free, outside and in front of the Seine; it is very nice

Hélas non, c ferme depuis bientôt 2 mois. Mais il y a plein d' autres endroit sur Paris
