yes, dear lars

one of my city friends can't get over the fact that i was made incredibly happy by a farmer friend, last weekend:

she gave me a huge feedbag full of goat shit, mixed with straw.
THREE YEARS OLD manure, decomposed to a heavenly, crumbly fertilizer.

how my vegie garden will thrive...but it will be known, in the city, that all virginia really wants for christmas is heaps and heaps of shit. true.
