I have been traveling on and off for the past seven years. I have volunteered in communities in different countries. I have pursued a dream to have hostels where women could be welcomed into a home like setting and find healing and wholeness in community. I have trained in sex traffic ministries, addiction relapse and recovery, secondary stress healing, and now I am training with Alternative To Violence Project that is making a big difference in the prison system here in California. All of these are volunteer and this is another avenue that we can use to change the course of our history for good.

I am wanting to find like minded people who want to be change agents and as the pastor who gave the benediction at the inauguration said "create beloved communities". One vision is a home for people who want to give back to our society now and are willing to live together simple in a shared housing where we can come and go to work with these groups. these homes in and of themselves would also be change agents in the community in which they live, by reaching out to neighbors and helping to build better communities through knowledge and action. I feel this is a time to sacrifice in order to make a difference for those who will come behind us just as many have done in the past. If you would like to dialogue about this, if it resonates in you and you might have a home to be used for such a purpose, if you know this is your time to let go of what ever may keep you from being a change agent then please lets talk.

I post this here in CS because I know many I have met and encountered through CS are big thinkers with big hearts.

Thank you for reading this.
