According to Hindu mythology, Lord Krishna killed the evil Holika on a full-moon day (known as Poornima in Nepali). Hence, this festival is known as Fagu Poornima as well as Holi.
People play with colours (colour powder or coloured water) or even plain water throughout the day. Special Fagu celebrations include musical programs on local TV channels and radio stations, bars and other places.
The festival will be started from the 'Shiva complex' next dorr to Kathmandu guesthouse,a small welcoming program and a fun with different colour(powder),then after hanging and chill out around Thamel,move forward to Kathmandu darbar square where the official celebration will be held by government.
