Peru June-July 2012

Dear all,

I am planning a trip to Peru in June-July this Summer, I am a girl coming from Estonia, living in Germany and learning Spanish now. I am really looking forward to this trip, it will be an adventure I am sure, I am so excited to see the highlands, old Inca culture, the shamanic connection with the nature and much more.

The plan is that I fly to Lima on the 23th of July, and from there drive with a bus to Cusco, maybe via Ayacucho, which I heard should be a beautiful city also, maybe directly. Then I plan to stay in Pisaq for 4-7 days to get accustomed to the climate and local culture and maybe do daytrips from there to the sacred valley (e.g. Urubamba, Ollantaytambo), at some point it would be nice to see the Macchupicchu of course, but I would rather avoid big commercial tours and trails.

Around the 12th of July I would like to be back in Lima, because then a friend of mine also has vacations and we plan to go trekking to Huaraz region. Until then I am relatively free, I have been thinking about seeing some of the rainforest near Puerto Maldonado maybe, but haven´t decided for sure. I am more interested in the wild nature and local culture and taking time for enjoying it rather than seeing all the tourist attractions in one week. Except for Macchupicchu, haha, that still is a must! I am very easy-going, curious and have a very Estonian sense of humor, this I think is important to know ;)

If somebody feels attracted by this description and would like to join me for the time from 24.06 to 12.07, feel free to contact me piretreb@hotmail.com
