returning to cape town with a nearly finished book FEB/2013
I lived in cape town in 2008/9 getting my master's degree at the university of the western cape. I'm coming back now, just for the month of february. I'm on the last stages of completing a biography about the white anti-apartheid activist, Rick Turner, that was raised outside Cape Town and was murdered in his home in Durban in 1978.
I'm looking for an affordable place for my girlfriend and I to stay during this time, ideally either in the city bowl (I used to live in Gardens and also love Vredehoek, Bo-Kaap and Tamboerskloof) or in Sea Point (I've always dreamed of living somewhere in Sea Point and never had the chance).
We need either one room in a shared flat with some really cool people, or a studio or 1-bedroom place of our own. I think we can afford around R5000 for the month, and ideally less, of course.
I'd be very happy to get any suggestions that people might have of good possibilities.
wishing you well,
