Hey Jae!
Welcome to Norway whenever you may come. The website skyss.no has some information in English, you can find it here:
http://www.skyss.no/nn-NO/GlobalToppMeny1/English/Timetables-and-maps/Timetables/
There is a time planner at the right hand side of the webiste, which isn't translated into English, but the main text says Travelplanner ("Reiseplanlegger). There you can fill your starting point under "Frå" (Eng: From) and your destination in the field "Til" (Eng: To) and dates and times below. Let me know if you have any trouble and I'll see if I can help you in the searches.
You can also try http://www.visitnorway.com/uk/uk/ for travelling tips, such as http://www.visitnorway.com/uk/Where-to-go-uk/Fjord-Norway/Ryfylke/Preikestolen-and-Ryfylke-National-Tourist-Route-360-panorama-SkyCam/ for more on Prekestolen.
You can also check out http://www.nsb.no/?lang=en_US for train tables, or http://www.ruteinfo.no/uk/index.asp for local bus travels (sorted by district in the left hand column of the site), or
http://www.nor-way.no/?lang=en_GB for longer hauls.
June is in general a pleasant time to visit Norway, as the days are long and the nights are short and summer has arrived most places.
Cheers!
Andreas

As it is still some time till you're going there, time tables may change, but seems like you can take the Haukali Express bus (line 930, part of Nor-way Express) from Bergen to Odda. According to the schedules it should leave Bergen several times a day and take slightkly less than 4 hours. I can't find any prices for now, but I would not be surprised if the journey will set you back between 200-500 NOK, but that's a guestimate. You might check this and although the Norwegian might not make sense, the names of the places and the times may give you some clues:). http://bestilling.nor-way.no/nbeiis/statictable/statictable.aspx?Language=o&Route=180&Direction=T&Product=P5
You may also travel to or from Stavanger-Odda. My guess is that you can arrange tickes once you arrive, or try contacting a tourist office or bus company by email. Most are ready to help a traveller.

It is true as you say that June may be an early time to trek parts of the Norwegian mountains. The summer comes late to parts of the mountain range, but it is doable if you keep in mind the Norwegian Mountain Code (which all who travel in the mountains should know by heart, http://english.turistforeningen.no/article.php?ar_id=7090&fo_id=3622). Also remember the Norwegian saying that goes "there is no bad weather but only bad clothing". Prepare for cold and windy climate. And I would not advise going alone. The mountains are old and full of surprise and can serve you challenges you should not take on alone. It seems Odda Tourist Association is arranging a group trek on 14th June (http://www.opplevodda.com/tysso-via-ferrata-himmelstigen-to-trolltunga-preikestolen/) for around 950 NOK, so I would check that out. Also, with regard to weather they should know how conditions are in June, check with them: (http://www.opplevodda.com/welcome-to-opplevodda/, or alternatively http://www.hardangerfjord.com/en/Odda/About-the-region/, or the Norwegian trekking association (http://english.turistforeningen.no).

Safe travels and just let me know if there's anything more you would need help on

Cheers!

If the Local tourist office advise against going before July I would listen to that advise - locals generally know the best. But there should be plenty of other trips you could make in June.
Best of luck!
