The places you've chosen are great, you can also consider Cluj wich is the largest town in Transylvania, but coming to Transylvania you definitley have to go to the countryside! I can recomand you villages like Biertan, Viscri, Saschiz or Rimetea/Torocko. You can check out the famos castles from Bran and Hunedoara, and hiking in the mountains is spectacular here, Retezat or Fagaras mountains are lovely and accesible.
Best regards and have a nice journey!
Thank you for your answer!I searched and looked pictures for all the places you mentioned and there were all really nice!!I liked most Biertan and Hunedoara and I will try to visit them!I am really excited about this trip and I'm sure it will be a great experience!
I visited all 3 and I think you made a good choice. You can probably spend the most time in Sibiu, as it's much bigger than the other two. Viscri is also quite nice to visit, maybe in combination with Sighisoara (not that far from each other). I personally was not too excited about the castle in Bran, but I love Peles Castle in Sinaia, though that might be a bit too far away from where you're going. And if you have time and a car, drive up the Transfagaras highway. Views are amazing over there!
Enjoy your trip!
If you go to Hunedoara castle, try also ALba Iulia city with the largest Romanian fortress or Cluj Napoca- the largest Transivanian city with the biggest Romanian university.
If you need more info about Transilvania, write to me in Greek or maybe see you at the Vasilopita event next week in Athens!!!
Thank you for your answer!I looked pictures of Peles Castle and it is very beautiful, too,so I might visit it if I have enough time! The thing is that I have found so many nice places that I wish I could visit them all!
