Do you think there are good chances to get one full time or maybe 2 part-time , good paied (15-20 dollars per hour) jobs n Vancouver???
and my next problem is the room, do you think there are many sharerooms, houses etc. and how much are the average costs???!!( don't want to pay more than 500 dollarm, maximum maybe 600)
best regards
and thank you for the answers in the meanwhile!

Hi Heyko!
I've just moved here with a work and travel visa. I arrived to Vancouver one week ago and I've found a room for 510$. The regular price is 500-550 dollars x room but it depends on the area. You can find something cheaper but maybe is not gonna be close to the city center.
I've been also looking for a job, kind like the one that you are looking for. Now is the low season, til march or February, so its more difficult to find a job, but you know, it depends on your effort, you can find something! If you work as a waitress your gonna win your base salary plus tips and if you work in a store or MacDonald's you're not gonna have tips. What I've heard is that kind of jobs use to be 10/11 dollars per hour, and I don't know if this is with taxes or not.

that's what I've learned from the city, I hope it can helps you!
And Vancouver, wow, its a nice city, very international and very helpful people
