Hi everyone, here are my books for trade. I'd love to exchange one for any book you really enjoyed.
Touching the Void- Joe Simpson. The true story of mountain survival, also a great documentary.
The God of Small Things- Arundhati Roy. One of my favs from last year. Great story, lots of Indian culture.
Late Nights on Air- Elizabeth Hay. CBC radio announcers in the Yukon take a canoe trip. Love, adventure, bears, Canadian to the core.
The Fifth Mountain- Paulo Coelho. Meh, it was alright, but you might really like it. That sounds harsh. The book was good, but not one of my favourites. Profits, religion, love, and war.
Rant - Chuck Palahniuk. Wow. I don't know how to even begin to describe this book. The same author wrote Fight Club. It is strange and twisted and then it becomes stranger and more twisted.
The Little Stranger- Sarah Waters. Ghost story in 1940's England.
The Night Watch- Sarah Waters. I am still reading this one but am almost finished. Love and difficulties of 20 - 30 year olds during WWII in England while being bombed. The story jumps through time.
Half Asleep in Frog Pyjamas- Tom Robbins. I love this book. A very quirky tale.
OMg! I want Rant!!!! Please please bring it on the next book swap!
I'll see when I do it, but so far I\m thinking Fri 29th.
I'll post to see ppls preferences
