What's the best city for young, to live in Ukraine
Posted January 13th, 2013 - 4:03 am by from Cagliari, Italy (Permalink)
Hi,
I'm coming in Ukraine at the end of february 2013.
I'm wondering about what's the best city where I can live in that satisfied these 3 requirements:

1) Students city, so young people and active nightlife monday to sunday.
2) Learn/improve russian language
3) Activity and sport like: martial arts, dance (tango/salsa),

What would you suggest me if I have to choiche between: Lviv and Donetsk?

thanks

Lviv!
You can check this when you come. Because Lviv is very tourist. We have many intresting caffe, restorans, festivals, museum. Also here is old national park.
Here are many clubs. In some restoran we have tango/salsa dance.
But we don't speak russian! We are Ukranian)
So, you can learn Ukranian language!

Lviv is great city for one's who want to know Ukrainian culture in quite, noble and gentle manner but for those who like action, movement and loud parties - Kyiv is the only option.

Kharkiv or Dnipropetrovsk, not Lviv!

As a foreigner I would prefer to stay in Odessa. Kiev is not so friendly. The service in the airport is awful. Sevastopol is nice but during the winter the life is not that "blooming". Furthermore it is difficult to travel to other countries by plain or car.

Perhaps that time you visited Kiev the service in the airport was awful but Odessa is criminal city. I suggest to stay in Kiev or Lviv. Lviv is amazing city=)

I can suggest Lvov 'cause it's student city and there are a lot of universities, and young people too=) And also there are a lot of language schools where you can study Russian. and Kiev is a capital and amazing city, there are also a lot of universities. I'm Russian but every year i visit Ukraine two or three times a year. I've been to Kiev, Lvov, Odessa and another big ad small Ukrainian cities that's why i know what I'm talking about.

hi! if to choose from Lviv and Donetsk, then definitely I can recommend only Lviv. Because it is a special beautiful friendly city, there are a lot of young people, a lot of life. But the Ukrainian language. If you will study Ukrainian, you can very well spend time in Lviv. Much more interesting than you could do it in Donetsk )))
