Let me introduce myself first. I'm Renato from Brazil. I'm 27 years old, geographer and from April until September I will be doing a Road Trip in central-eastern europe. On a Lada!
The idea is to cover all former communist countries, starting in Berlin and ending in Moscow. I want to show and talk to this new generation that came after (or in the very end of) communist times. People that didn't live the communism itself, but have a strong opinion (supporters or not, i'd like to talk to anyone, really) about those times.
So, as you can see, I'm not coming to check touristic places or party hard (sometimes i will want, nobody's perfect).
I'd like to ask here if someone can help me out telling me where can I find places like:
- the city that has grown more and the one that has decreased more afther the end of communism;
- places where minorities usually are;
- young leaders of movements pro and against communism.
As I will start the trip in Berlin, in the beginning of May, I'll be in Ukraine around mid of July.
Everyone is invited to join me in my trip! I have free spaces in the car and all I'd ask is a little help to share costs with fuel.
Feel free to give me any advice, hint, comment, complain and so on. It will surely help me to plan my trip!
Here's the page I've created in Facebook. There you can find more informations about the trip.
Please, like it =)
Thank you all!!
Olá Renato, sua ideia é FANTÁSTICA!!!
Eu estou em uma volta ao mundo e, caso eu consiga, gostaria de me juntar a sua viagem por algum tempo.
Forte abraço e parabéns pela ideia.
