Hey folks, I'm working with a friend now on a documentary about caregiving and Alzheimer's Disease. We conducted a successful crowdfunding campaign in May, the trailer for which you can see here:

Anyway, my friend has departed back to Holland to edit the 150+ hours of footage (ouch!), but I would love to connect with someone in NY to generate ideas on super-shorts we can contribute to the documentary's bigger picture. I have a lot of ideas on how to take the footage in artsy-fartsy directions ("artsy-fartsy" being a very technical term here).

So... if any of you dear CS souls has video-editing or art-direction experience that they would like to impart upon me and this project, I would love to meet up with you. I really have no editing or filmmaking wherewithal at all. We can talk about which directions to take the footage off the main path of the documentary. Or maybe you're just a very creative individual who knows how to storyboard and/or come up with more neat-o artsy-fartsy ideas. I would love to collaborate once a week if possible, just to keep the creative juices flowing.

And, hey, I'll buy ya dinner, or beer, or lunch, or coffee, or Jujubees, or whatever your heart desires. And you can share movie credits with Bas (the director friend), and I, whenever this Everest of a project is finally finished, come next spring or summer.

Whaddya say, huh?

Full-disclosure: much of the footage is wildly monotonous and intensely redundant, and I think to really stitch together some nice video-vigniettes will take hours upon oodles of dull footage-watching.

Consider yourself forewarned!

Okay then, I look very much forward to hearing from you!

Until then!
