Friendly Belgian looking to meet friendly people in NYC in May!
Posted February 25th, 2013 - 12:10 pm by from Schaarbeek - Schaerbeek, Belgium (Permalink)
Hi everyone!

First of all, I'd like to say how excited am I bout going to NYC for the very first time of my life! I've heard so much about your city and look forward to discovering it (with you if possible...)!

As an international traveler for business purpose, I was bored of unfriendly hotels and hostels where you end up alone in your room in a city you don't know... Then I discovered CS!

I strongly believe meeting people from all around the world makes you richer in experiences, opinions and beliefs. Anyone has his own perception about the reality of life and by exchanging with others you might lead your convictions towards clarity and understanding.

Few words about me: I'm a 25 years old Belgian. I speak French as mother tongue but also English, Dutch and some Spanish. I've traveled across the world for a while and have stayed in many couches and shared apartments.
Easy-going, sociable and friendly, I easily fit in any couch or on any carpet!
I love having a drink with people who are also interested in travel, sports or language exchanges.

I'll be staying in NYC the entire month of May. It is obvious that a month is a long period to find a single host. But if someone is interested in my presence on his couch (or spare room), I'll be willing to pay a rent and share the bills!

Realistically, I'm rather looking for several hosts who could host me for a while, depending on their availability.

Please let me know if you are interested to host me, I promise to bring you some yummy Belgian chocolates and beers!
