USA- International night!
Posted December 16th, 2009 - 9:00 am by from Boston, United States (Permalink)
My Fellow Americans,
Though I'm currently living in Istanbul, it's probably more appropriate to side with my nationality, so bring it on, Americans! Let's get cracking on the our plans for International Night. What kind of treats represent our country best? We could go for a melting pot theme because we will be the only country attending that was built on immigration. Anyone have an "I heart NY" shirt? We could wear those or just some red/white/blue apparel. Post some ideas and let's plan.

Hey Kat,
Yeah my idea was to make a texas style chilli. If we pool our money together then we could make an awesome batch for sure. And I could cook it up too.

Cheers

Brian

yeah man if you bring the shirts we will wear them for sure. I am travelling now and I am no where near a place that sells really tacky shirts. But yeah I think we can find some of the Boss online for everone to hear..

Cheers

hahaha. Tiger is an American inside joke right about now. Anyway, what is we made signs that said "I heart NY" and wore them around our necks or taped to us and American flag signs taped to our backs. It may be tacky, but the again, what about Americana isn't?

Hey guys,
Well I don't know how many of you guys are at the camp. but I am here and staying in the Madrid room. So if you want to come and find me during the cooking dem for Goolaush that would be great. There is a huge Testcos very close to the camp so if anyone would like to chip in for some American Style products that would be great. I can't think of anything that is easy or cheap enough to share with a big group.

so I might just do a big batch of drink. I know that its not much NY but its a southern drink. Does anyone know the Arnold Palmer drink? Its half ice tea and Lemonade. So it would be cheap for me to make that, but I just need a big jug to put it into. Ok see you guys there.

Cheers

Brian

hey T,
Yeah mate very true. but as at the camp they don't have a big enough cantainer for me to do a proper drink mix for allot of people I might take up your suggestion. I am off to the grand Tesco just up the road for some American style supplies. If your able to find me and kick in some Forents that would be sweet as.

cheers
