P.S. If there are any beginners who would like me to post the messages in English or French as well as Russian, please let me know and I will do so!

De Gaspe (Cross-street Villeneuve, near Jean Talon or De Castelnau Metro).

For those of you who speak Russian but do not read it, let me repeat in English: I propose we meet at my place on Jan. 8th - 7585 De Gaspe (Cross-street Villeneuve, near Jean Talon or De Castelnau Metro). The theme of the meeting will be Russian poetry. Everyone should bring their favourite Russian poem to read aloud to the group - this will be a great way to break the ice and get the ball rolling in terms of speaking beautiful Russian! As a side note, if we decide that my place is too far and inconvenient, we can always agree to meet somewhere downtown - at a cafe, for example.

-Margie

EN: Yeah, reading your favourite poem may be considered as something fairly personal to be shared with people you have not met before. Either way, I suppose I'll try to show up, although I am very busy and may not make it.

Yes, that's all correct - it's Saturday January 9th, not the 8th as I had mistakenly put! My place is indeed located between Villeray and Faillon on De Gaspe. In addition to taking the metro, you can take the 55 bus down St. Laurent to Faillon or Villeray to get there.

Do skorovo!

Also, if it's possible for you to RSVP on this post, it would be useful to me as I'd like to prepare some tea and perhaps some light snacks for the meeting. Thanks!
(Sorry none of this was in Russian - I'm on a different computer that's incompatible with Translit.ru!)
